LaVandrea Renae Gooseberry

Lavandrea Renae "Bay Bay" Gooseberry, 34, passed away on February 11, 2025, in Dallas, Texas. Born on January 9, 1991, in Dallas, she brought joy and laughter to those around her throughout her life. 

Lavandrea was known for her vibrant spirit and infectious energy. She was the life of the party, always bringing warmth and humor to any gathering. Her kindness and sense of fun made her unforgettable to all who had the privilege of knowing her. 

She had a passion for beauty and creativity, especially when it came to doing nails and hair. Whether styling for friends or simply enjoying time with loved ones, she found joy in making others feel their best. More than anything, she cherished spending time with her family and friends, creating memories filled with love and laughter. 

Lavandrea is survived by her mother, Alison Adkins; her father, Levander Gooseberry, and his wife Maria Gooseberry; her beloved son, Elijah Stockton; and her sister, Ashley Gooseberry. She was preceded in death by her grandmothers Ellen Lavern Adkins and Helen Gooseberry; her grandfather George Gooseberry Sr.; and her uncle Leonard “Lynn” Adkins. 

A memorial service will be held on February 21, 2025, at Sweet Home Baptist Church, located at 1019 S First Street in Garland, Texas. The service will begin at 1:00 PM and conclude at 3:00 PM as family and friends gather to celebrate Lavandrea’s life. 

As Revelation 21:4 reminds us: "He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away." May Lavandrea’s memory bring comfort to those who loved her.
